5 Things I’m Looking Forward to in 2022

Hello beautiful people! Happy International Women’s Day! To all the amazing women who do so much and give so much, you are appreciated, valued and loved. And welcome back to another 5 related blog post. If you read my posts, if not subscribe…please! I decided that March has 5 Mondays so why not have some March madness fun and do all posts related to the number 5. Just like today’s post which is all about 5 things I’m looking forward to in 2022. Yes, I’m aware that it’s the third month of 2022 but, there’s still alot of year left to live.

5 Things I’m Looking Forward to in 2022

My content is lifestyle and travel related so this shouldn’t be a big surprise, especially after the last couple of years. One of the things that 2020 and 2021 taught me was how much I value travelling. It adds so much to my life as a person and teaches me so much. There’s so much to see, do and explore. I recognise that not everyone has that opportunity or the inclination. Something that I’m very grateful to be in the position I’m in.

If you read my leveling up post, I mentioned learning languages amongst other things. One of the reasons I want to learn a couple of languages is because of the travel. Being able to communicate with people when I’m travelling in their country will be beneficial. Generally, when you speak another person’s language, or at least attempt to, they respect you. There are over 6000 languages spoken in the world, to me, it’s a shame to only speak English. Learning another language opens up the world in a different way. Duolingo is a great app to learn a new language. Or you could join a club and converse with native speakers.

Looking After my Health

This is a priority, although it’s not at the top of the list :). Actually all of us need to have our health; mental and physical, at the top of our list. We can’t pour from an empty cup and be able to thrive. To kickstart I began with the 75 day challenge. The challenge includes exercising, taking necessary supplements, reading, meditating and praying. For me, its a bit of a reset and training my mind to be disciplined about looking after my health. How about you, what are you doing to look after your health?

Building my Photography Business

Next thing I’m looking forward to in 2022 is growing my business. I love being a Photographer and getting creative with photography. I enjoy helping small businesses and solopreneurs bring their visions to life. It’s also a challenging field especially now but I am willing to do what needs to be done. Life is too short for me to not at least try. If it doesn’t work out, I can say that I tried everything so it wasn’t meant to be.

Have Fun

My final thing is all about fun. Of course I have fun travelling and doing my photography. The fun I’m talking about is where you socialise, go to the theatre, go to a concert in the park, or go dancing. You remember those days during the summer that you spent in a park having a picnic laughing with friends. Or, the next morning after the party phone calls, dissecting the previous night that was so much fun? Yes, I’d like more of those please.

Those are my 5 things I’m looking forward to in 2022, I’m curious to know what yours are. Leave me a comment telling me 1 thing that you’re excited to do.

Thanks for reading and until next time, be well! x
