Fresh Beauty Review

Fresh Beauty review- majeang.com

Hello my skincare junkies, I’ve got a review for you today from Fresh. This is a brand I’ve seen around for some time but was put off by the price tag. I was browsing Cultbeauty who started to stock Fresh and they had travel sized versions. This made it more affordable and allowed me to trial the products for over a month (and counting). Enough waffling, here’s my Fresh Beauty review.

Fresh Beauty Review

I purchased the Soy Face Cleanser, Rose Floral Toner and the Rose Deep Hydration Cream. Just a reminder that I have combination/oily skin and some sensitivity on my cheeks (the ones on my face ;)). They tend to get inflammed if there are too many harsh chemicals in a product.

Soy Face Cleanser

This cleanser has a gel-like consistency and has a slight herbal scent but not overpowering. It contains amino acids, cucumber extract, borage seed oil and rosewater. These ingredients are meant to nourish, calm and balance your skin. I usually cleanse my skin using the 60 second method and found that it didn’t dry out my skin at all. My skin felt soft and cleansed after using. I generally use it as a second cleanse after removing makeup. I love this cleanser and it has become one of my favourites. The soy face cleanser is one that I continuously reach for on a daily basis. Also, the amount you get in the smaller size lasts more than 4 weeks which is perfect for longer travels.

Rose Floral Toner

In any skincare review I do, I try to always include a toner but it isn’t always possible, like this Nars review. However, in this Fresh Beauty review I was able to try the Rose Floral Toner. As far as toners go, I’ve been pretty spoilt by Indie Lee so I expected a lot from this. The toner is made from pure rose water which is meant to soothe, tone, refresh and set makeup. I haven’t tested it out to see how it sets makeup. However, I can say that on mornings where my skin feels a bit sensitive, combined with the soy cleanser, this helps to soothe it. This is great for me but I also hoped for a bit more like making my skin smoother.

Rose Deep Hydration Cream

You’re probably wondering why I chose a deep hydration cream. Well, combination oily skin types can get dehydrated too. Anyway, the Rose Deep Hydration cream is lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores. Like with everything else, there is a rose scent in this cream. Apart from rose water and rose flower oil it contains, vitamin E and angelica leaf extract. I can’t tell you how lovely this feels when I’m massaging it into my skin. It sits well over my serums and my skin has been looking very hydrated. I’m a fan!

Price: £13 for 15ml; £35 for 50ml

These are the 3 Fresh products I tried and still using them. I would repurchase the cleanser and moisturiser. The travel size cleanser is great value for money and I will definitely get for my upcoming trips. The moisturiser I will purchase in full size and decant to the smaller jar. Tell me, have you tried any Fresh products before? What was your experience like? Leave me a comment and let me know.

As always thank you for reading and commenting. Until next time, be well! x
