Hello beautiful humans! Welcome to October! The leaves have started to change colour and although the weather is still balmy, there are definite signs of autumn. I’m not a fan of the cold but I do enjoy watching the explosion of nature when the seasons change. Anyway, today’s post I’m sharing 4 ways to reset your body post holiday. After an amazing holiday, apart from having the holiday blues your body may need a little reset.

Increase Your Water Intake

We all know flights can be dehydrating not to mention if you had were enjoying alcoholic beverages. Plus, being in the sun, late nights and not consuming sufficient water. Up your water intake and add a tiny pinch of pink himalyan salt to help with even more hydration. Also remember that some fruits and vegetables are made up of more water which can help. Think cucumbers!

Scrub-a-Dub

I love a good body exfoliation generally but after a holiday, I need and love it even more. A sugar or salt scrub which you can purchase or make yourself, does wonders. Remember to go in circular gentle motions, no need to go in hard. The scrub itself will do that for you and remove dead skin cells to reveal soft dolphin like skin. This is perfect after dry skin brushing.

Facials

If you can afford it, book in for a facial that is suitable for your skin type. Having a professional look after your skin regularly, especially after a holiday is a great investment. If you’re being economical especially after your trip, just diy it. Pull out your face masks, serums, moisturisers and exfoliants and luxuriate. Get your glow back!

Take Your Supplements

Let’s be real, you probably didn’t remember to take your supplements every day whilst you were away. Completely understandable as you were living your best life. Now that you’re back, get back on the wagon. Also, if your tummy is upset or not quite settled, maybe look into taking pre and probiotics. They help put the good bacteria back into your body which helps your gut aka the second ‘brain’.
