Beauty Treatments I’ve Tried and Liked

about me skincare edition- led treatment

Oh hello there my fellow beauty junkie. How’s your skin and what new treatments have you tried? Let me know in the comments below because today, I’m sharing the beauty treatments I’ve tried and liked. I think that having a skincare routine that works for your skin is essential. However, depending on your skin needs, having professional beauty treatments can aid in the end goal. Having the best skin you can possibly have.

Beauty Treatments I’ve Tried and Liked

LED Laser Treatment

I’ve written an in depth post about it, here, but to summarise. This treatment you can see benefits within 24 hours but a series of treatments will be needed to see longer term effects. LED facial treatments can be used to treat a number of skin issues such as, acne, hyperpigmentation, dull skin and more. It’s one that I would like to have more of.

Dermaplaning

Next up, we have dermaplaning. I have been hearing about dermaplaning for such a long time and decided to have it professionally done first. The reason is that I have a bit of dermatitis on my cheeks and didn’t want to mess anything up. I have to say, my skin felt and looked properly exfoliated and glowy after. Essentially, the facialist uses a medical grade blade to remove excess dead skin off your face. I’d been using tretinoin for some time and my skin had been peeling, so this was great! I’ve tried it at home but would like to have it done quarterly by a professional. The results are pretty impressive.

HydraFacial

I had a hydrafacial a couple years ago as a course of treatments at a clinic. Used to detox, exfoliate, brighten, extract and hydrate your skin. This treatment is an ultimate pamper facial. You leave with your face feeling brand new and looking brand new too. They also use LED light at the end to help with rejuvenating the skin. Again, it’s not a one and done treatment to really gain the benefits.

Those are the beauty treatments I’ve tried and liked. Of course I will be trying some more when I can but I might just revisit these 3 because they had such a good impact on my skin! Just a piece of advice, when trying out new treatments, please do research on the clinics and get feedback from people who have been.

I’d love to know what beauty treatments you’ve tried and liked, let me know in the comments below.

Thank you for reading and until next time, be well! x
