Firstly, the term was coined by a young female wrapper called, Megan Thee Stallion and for her, it’s all about being true to yourself. Being the life of the party and not caring what other people think of you. Now let’s get into the 30 plus edition of a hot girl summer.

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing your investments pay off. Similar to putting money into an ISA or savings account, investing into yourself can pay off. You can’t do that or experience growth if your focus is minding other people’s business. Take the time to hear your thoughts and determine what you want out of life. Basically work on your biggest project, you!

Family Matters

When you lose a loved one or 2 in a short space of time, it put things into perspective. You realise who and what matters. Spend quality time with them because tomorrow is promised to no one. If you can help, then help because regrets are a heavy burden and give you wrinkles.

Have Fun

The sun is shining, sometimes and it’s the perfect time to go out and enjoy life. Be in the moment and laugh! The problem is that we take ourselves too seriously sometimes. Really it ain’t that serious and if it is, it won’t last forever. Nothing lasts forever, so have fun this summer when you can.

Protect Your Skin

Whilst you’re having fun in the sun, please wear spf. I know I sound like a broken record but, looking after your skin is important. There was an image floating around recently of a girl who developed boils on her back. She was sunbathing for about an hour. It looked painful and her recovery is probably going to be a long one. Save yourself the agony.

Participation Required

My final hot girl summer 30 plus edition is technically for all year round. However, we can all start now in the summer time. This thing called life is a one time experience. We don’t get to repeat it and this moment we have will never happen again. With this in mind, participate in your own life and recognise that you’re not the only person in this world. Do not allow others to dictate what you can and can’t do. You are the captain of your own ship and can steer it however you chose to.
