Hello again fashion giraffes today’s fashion post is an OOTD on what I wore in Bali. I thought maybe it can inspire you if you’re visiting a hot climate for your summer holidays. Or, if you’re going through a heatwave this might help you.
What I Wore in Bali
Kimono
I love a kimono especially to travel with. It’s so versatile in that you can pair with a dress, shorts, skirt or belt it and you have a dress for dinner. It’s also great if you’re visiting temples or religious places that require your shoulders to be covered. Plus it keeps the sun off your shoulders and that’s a win, win situation.
This kimono is by one of my besties, Thilini, who is the creator behind the fashion brand All About IV. The brand is all about creating one off pieces by hand! So if you’re looking for something one of a kind then be sure to check her out.
Denim Shorts
These denim shorts are perfect for mermaids like me 🙂 and keeps everything that needs to be covered, covered. I always think denim is great during the summer because like the kimono, you can dress them up or down.
Camisole
You can’t go wrong with the tried and tested camisole, especially if there’s cotton in the fabric and a bit of stretch. The cotton means it’s breathable and a bit of stretch is always handy when you’re chowing down on some freshly caught mahi mahi.
Beaded Sandals
I paired this casual look with some beaded sandals that complimented the fringe piping of the kimono. Summer is the time to get your feet out and if you need tips on getting your feet summer ready, click here.
This look is incredibly simple yet versatile. What’s your favourite summer pairing? Let me know in the comments below.
