I know we always start the beginning of the year with a list of things we’d like to accomplish. However, I am wondering if this list shouldn’t begin during spring. Let’s face it, winter is miserable and sometimes really, really long! There isn’t a lot of inspiration happening unless your resolution is to hibernate! So with that in mind, here are 5 things I will accomplish by the end of 2017….I hope!
5 Things I Will Accomplish
Laugh More
I am such a serious person and love deep conversations. Whilst this is something that I don’t wish to change, what I’d love to do is to laugh more. Life is challenging and humans make life even more challenging! Case in point, the UK elections, and Brexit! With that said, I’m going to work on laughing more which includes, watching funny shows, seeing the funny side of things and hanging around people who make me laugh.
Travel
Now this isn’t really a surprise, is it? I mean, I’ve done wanderlust lists and I seem to be on a plane fairly often. With travelling, I feel so inspired and motivated to do more and give more. It’s a bit like a drug and an expensive one at that! Which leads me to…
Savings
I’ve always been the person to pay off my credit cards each month. Go without because I can’t afford it, even though I need it. It comes with the territory of being an international student over the age of 21. With that said, I don’t really have savings and my finances aren’t in the best shape they possibly can be. So I will be working on getting to a healthier financial place.
Health
This isn’t an I’m going to the gym 5 times a week and only drink water etc etc. No, I’m going to be realistic and look at ways to improve my health. I did one of those deficiencies and sensitivities tests and turns out I’m deficient in a lot of essential minerals and vitamins. That isn’t cute and the closer I get to 40, the more I’d like to get my body in order.
Blogging
I really enjoy blogging and hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my travels, tips and fashion posts. I get to be creative and would love to be able to have this as more than a hobby. However, I am also realistic in the fact that, it’s a predominantly 20-something-year-old field. Which is ridiculous because you don’t stop living when you hit 30! Otherwise, this would be a whole different conversation. Essentially, I’d like to help more people and make you laugh a bit more too. I’d like this to be a place where for 300 words or more, you would get a sense of joy. So, I’m going to work on improving my content so you get that feeling. If you have suggestions let me know in the comments below!
So that’s my 5 things I will accomplish for this year. I’d love to know if you have any goals you’re working on. Or, maybe you haven’t thought about it but will think about it now? Let me know!
As always, thank you for reading and don’t forget to subscribe!
Until next time, be well!
