The Danna Langkawi, Hotel Lust List

The Danna Langkawi, hotel lust list - majeang.com

Well hello there travel bunnies! Today’s post is one to add to the hotel lust list, you can read the others here, here and here. Today’s addition is, The Danna Langkawi which is a resort and beach villa. They’re also part of the small luxury hotels of the world.

The Danna Langkawi

Location

If you’ve never heard of Langkawi before, it’s a cluster of 99 islands off the mainland of Malaysia. There are breathtaking landscapes, amazing food (because food is life) and there’s an abundance of wildlife on the island. The Danna considers itself the best beach resort in Langkawi with lots to offer.

Rooms

The Danna prizes itself on elevated responsible luxury and had 51 rooms rennovated to reflect this. There are rooms or suites that have views of the sea or marina.

If you’re looking for something a bit more private, there’s the beachfront villas that come with their own private infinity pool. There are 2 villas; a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom which can hold up to a maximum of 3 people.

Amenities

Each room comes with Jo Loves products, the founder of Jo Malone. For the coffee lovers, there are Nespresso machines in the rooms to make your favourite coffee whilst taking in the views. Also, there are 7, yes 7, restaurants that you can choose from. Feel for noodles? There’s a restaurant specifically for noodles. Want pizzas but gourmet? They’ve got a deck called Pit-za where you can eat your full with pizzas with the Andaman Sea as your back drop.

If you just feel for nibbles and cocktails then the Verandah is the place for you. They don’t open on Mondays but to make up for that there’s live entertainment and a happy hour from 5pm to 7pm.

Needless to say The Danna Langkawi is luxurious, elegant and a place I definitely want to visit because who wouldn’t!? It’s in a stunning part of the world, the rooms are spectacular and you can eat at a different place every night.

You can book via booking.com or directly with The Danna because they have special offers. Also to note, weather wise, November to April seem to be the best times to visit. Especially if you want to avoid monsoon season.

I’d love to know what you think about The Danna Langkawi. Is it firmly on your hotel lust list like mine? Let me know in the comments below.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time, be well! x
