Lust Hotel for July 2023, Son Bunyola Hotel and Villas

Hello you beautiful travel fiends! I have seen a few hotels on my radar and thought I would bring back my monthly lust lists of hotels. You can read the last ones here, here and here. Back to this month, I was scrolling through Beyonce’s internet and stumbled across a hotel in Mallorca. Read on for my lust hotel for July 2023, Son Bunyola Hotel and Villas.

Who Owns It?

So the Son Bunyola hotel is owned by Virgin Limited and is their newest launch. 25 June 2023 was when it was launched, that’s how new it is. It is also the first European hotel for the Virgin Limited Edition as they’ve got unique luxury retreats in the Caribbean, South America, South Africa and Morocco. I also read that 80% of the staff are Spanish which personally, I think is great for their economy.

Location

Mallorca is a popular holiday destination for many so it isn’t a surprise that they would open one of their luxury hotels their. The luxury hotel can be found on the northwestern coast of the island set in the Tramuntana Mountains. There’s 3 miles of pristine coastline with 1300 acres of land with olive groves and vineyards. The location is giving peace and tranquility whilst catering for those who are into hiking and cycling. Did I mention that it’s also on a UNESCO heritage site? Well it is, which means extra care and consideration is taken.

The Hotel

Let’s talk about the hotel itself and all I can say is, wow! Sir R.B. and his team certainly didn’t scrimp on the hotel. There are 26 rooms and villas all styled by local interior designer Rialto Living. There are 2 Tower Suites with panoramic mountain and sea views; one of which was once a Medieval defence tower dating back to the 13^th century.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s a Mediterranean restaurant and a tapas restaurant. Can you say yummy?! Also a few outdoor dining terraces so you can feast both your belly and eyes.

If that wasn’t enough, there are 2 treatment rooms for those who love a massage like myself. Also, a 28-metre swimming pool, outdoor yoga sessions, historical walks, aqua bikes, a tennis court and more!
