Hello beautiful smelling people! I was kindly sent a couple of perfumes for free to review. Keep on reading if you’re in the market for something sweet and sexy. These are affordable fragrances from River Island for spring 2023. Both perfumes are around the £20 mark for 100ml and eau de parfums.

Affordable Fragrances from River Island for Spring 2023

Decadent Day

This comes in gold with bright pink, rectangular shaped packaging. My first impression was that the bottle looked expensive when I took it out of the box. A clear bottle with a gold top that you pull off. I sprayed a bit in the cap and was met with a heavenly floral scent. I was instantly transported to Bali with notes of ylang ylang, soft musk and a base note of sweet santal.

After spraying on my wrists and letting it dry down, it became a subtle floral scent that I would smell occassionally. I think this perfume would be great layered with another perfume or, a body lotion with cherry blossom in it. You can purchase your own here.

Decadent Night

The night perfume to complement the day comes in similar packaging except it’s black and gold. The bottle is identical and I wished it said night to differentiate it from the daytime one. When I first smelt the Decadent Night, it took me back to Dubai party nights. It makes absolute sense as there’s amber, florals and woods notes. This is perfect for those who like oud but find it overpowering.

I thought this lasted a bit longer but then I layered with an oil based body lotion. It’s a very sexy grown scent that’ll take you through until autumn.

These are affordable fragrances from River Island for spring 2023 and think it smells more expensive than the £20 price tag. I was surprised in a really good way! Have you tried these before? Will you try them if you haven’t? Let me know in the comments below.
