Welcome back my travel buddies. I am a big fan of the Eurostar because they’ve created a link between the UK and other European destinations in an effortless manner. Also, I know not everyone is fond of travelling by air. This opens up opportunites for them to travel to other countries without stepping on a plane. So here are 3 European destinations to visit on the Eurostar.
3 European Destinations to Visit on the Eurostar
Amsterdam
I went to Amsterdam over the summer and had an amazing time. It’s such a beautiful vibrant city and this is my third visit. There’s so much culture and art to see and experience. The Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank Museum and so much more. Not to mention the waffles and aliveness of Dam Square. You can also take a day trip further out to see the tulip fields. It’s a liberal city hence prostitution is legal and regulated, same with smoking marijuana. You’re an adult so you get to choose your activities. My hope is that people see that the city is more than that.
French Alps
The ski season will be opening soon and for those who wish to parttake in the frozen water activities, the Eurostar has got you. You’ll take the Eurostar to Paris and get a TGV train to Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Moûtiers is the main access point to the Les Trois Vallées ski region in the French Alps. You could spend a few hours in Paris before or after your connecting train. I’ve also noticed that Eurostar has teamed up with Travelski to off a 7 day ski package which you can check out here.
Marseille
A few years ago, one of my besties and I hopped on the Eurostar and went to Marseille. It’s a longer journey than taking a flight however, we arrived in the heart of Marseille and walked to our accommodation. It’s a port city South of France and is the largest city in the Mediterranean. It has its own Notre Dame, beautiful beaches and amazing fish for the fish lovers.
