My Luxury Fashion Wishlist of 2021

my luxury fashion wishlist of 2021

Hello you beautiful people! How are you doing? I decided that I would do a luxury wishlist 2021 series because, lockdown. A girl needs a bit of mental escapism even though she can’t afford any of these at the moment. The first in the series was on beauty, which you can read here. Today’s installment is my luxury fashion wishlist of 2021 since it’s currently London Fashion Week.

My Luxury Fashion Wishlist of 2021

Handbags

I will admit that as much as I love handbags, I don’t have that many luxury ones on my wishlist. Matter of fact, I only have 1 handbag and it’s the Celine Horizontal Cabas in Canvas.

Why do I want this bag? In a word, it’s beautiful! This is the kind of bag that I could use whilst travelling (when we can) to warmer climates. This is the ultimate spring and summer bag. The shape is perfect and it isn’t too big but just the perfect size. I’m not a massive fan of massive logos but I can make an exception for this bag. Plus, I can turn the logo to face inwards. Isn’t she pretty?!

Shoes and Boots

Did you really think that the shoe junkie won’t have any on my fashion luxury wishlist of 2021? Surely you jest?

Let’s start with some ankle boots. I’ve been eyeing these Chloe Rylee cutout glossed leather ankle boots for about a year. The amount of looks I’ve paired them with in my head is ridiculous!

I have a brown dupe from Zalando that I got ages ago and they’re perfect for transition months.

Next on my shoe list are a pair of black court shoes. Can you believe I actually don’t own a pair? I had one from Primark and they were really good, except they stretched, became uncomfortable and kept slipping off my feet. I saw these on The Outnet and although simple, it has an extra pop!

These are the VLTN printed leather pumps from Valentino Garavani. These are the kind of shoes you can pretty much wear with anything. Mom jeans with a graphic t-shirt and a leather jacket. Do you see my vision? 🙂

Accessories

In the previous post, it was all about accessories and how they can make an outfit. If you want to look expensive and have a tight budget, spend money on your accessories and shoes. So with that in mind here are 2 accessories, I would love to own.

Silk Scarves

I think scarves are incredibly versatile. You can wear them in your hair, around your neck, on your wrist and as a top. I love the Dior Zodiac Square, it gives a monochromatic feel so you can wear with just about anything.

The other silk scarf I wouldn’t mind owning is the La Marche du Zambeze from Hermes.

Sunglasses

There’s something about a pair of sunglasses that are well made and suits your face really well. Because I have a round-ish shaped face with high cheek bones (thanks Granny!), a rounded square shape. Here are a couple of shapes I like the look of from Celine.

Clothing

Personally, I don’t think spending money on designer clothing is worthwhile for me. However, I do think having a few well chosen pieces that will last a lifetime. For instance a trench coat.

Burberry trench coats have stood the test of time again and again. A great investment piece that once you have one, that’s it, you won’t need to purchase another one.
