Hello my skincare junkies, I know it has been a hot minute since I did a skincare related post. But I’m back with a good one. I’m introducing Elan skincare to you.
Introducing Elan Skincare
This brand focuses on producing natural and organic products. Started by Joanna Silva who has wanted to use her experience in the medical industry and bring us all something that actually works. Combining art, science and nature, et voila! You have Elan skincare.
The Serums
There are 5 serums in the range which are oil based and they all have something to offer. They are called:Whisper, Wonder, Dream has an eye serum, a water based gel hyaluronic booster serum and an overnight serum.
You know I always like to trial out products for at least 2 weeks before I give you my thoughts. So here are my thoughts 3 weeks on.
Dream Serums by Elan Skincare
As the name suggests, these are serums to be used at nighttime. The Overnight renewal serum contains; vitamins C and E, rosehip and carrot seeds extract, bisabolol and a whole lot of good stuff. It says it gives you glowing, softer, smoother, luminous skin. Fyi, it does! First night of using this and next day my skin was softer. Fast forward to now and it’s definitely getting better and better.
Rating: 4/5
In conjunction with the overnight renewal, I used the eye serum. Containing similar ingredients, the Dream Eye Renewal serum lifts, brightens and smooths the eye contour area. There’s also the addition of sea algae and it’s fragrance free. For me, eye creams or serums take the longest to notice. But, what I have noticed is that the teeny tiny bumps I had have smoothed out. So watch this space!

Whisper Serum by Elan Skincare
Straight off the bat, Whisper has to be my favourite serum. I mean I love them all but this is my favourite! Firstly, it does soften, nourish and smooth skin texture. But the biggest thing for me is that it soothes the redness on my cheeks! It contain chamomile and calendula flower extracts.
I have spoken before about the redness on my cheeks but am yet to find something to heal it. So far this has been doing a pretty good job and I can’t wait to see what happens another month. If you prefer your skincare to be fragrance free, there’s an option for that as well.

Elan’s Wonder Serum
If you’re wondering about the wonder serum (:)) I’ll explain. This is the serum to help you fight against premature ageing, free radicals and pollution. It contains coenzyme Q10, omega 3 and 6, carotenoids and vitamin C.
I like how this smells and I mix it with my existing hyaluronic acid. Again, my skin feels softer and smoother after application. I think only time will tell how effective it is in slowing down the signs of ageing.
Rating: 3/5
I purchased the cosmetic bag which costs £20 but I signed up to the newsletter and got 10% off. The bottles are tiny but you only need a little bit and I have been able to integrate the serums into my routine. They blend well with my other products.
Would I repurchase? Yes definitely! I would get the Whisper serum and possibly the Overnight Renewal serum. I was impressed with how quickly I saw some impact and I’m excited to see how my skin responds over time. So that’s my review on Elan Skincare. Is it something that you want to try? What do you think? Leave me a comment below.
Thanks for reading and until next time, be well! x
