Hello you lovely people, it’s been a while since I did a fashion post (here). I thought it’s spring, the weather is getting warmer, sometimes and more colour is coming back in. Here’s my spring fashion edit for this year.
Spring Fashion Edit
Utility
This trend is one that keeps coming back and I’m here for it. To me it’s perfect spring and summer because you can still layer when it’s cooler. Also, it doesn’t make beige or khaki look boring. Plus I feel it’s something that everybody shape can pull off. I saw this piece on Nastygal and had to get it.
Satin for Spring
Satin, sateen or silk pieces have been in our midst for a hot minute and there’s no sign of slowing down. For this spring fashion edit, I’ve picked out a dress and midi skirt. Both are versatile to take you through to autumn. You know the whole mindful shopping.
Shoes
I cannot do a spring fashion edit without including a few pairs of shoes.
I like these boots because they’re higher up the shin than your regular booties. This means less of your leg gets cold when worn with midi skirts.
These mules were heavily influenced by Lorna Luxe, who is a fashion goddess. She has a knack for mixing high end and budget items but they all look amazing! You can check out her instagram here.
Spring Accessories
I love adding jewellery and a bold bag to a simple outfit. It gives another dimension to your look. Plus if you get overwhelmed but colour but still want to dip your toes in, bags and jewellery are great!
I saw this bag and instantly thought they would look great with the mules, cream jeans and tshirt. It looks like a piece of wooden art. Don’t you think?
Shell jewellery is everywhere and I found these from an Etsy store called Handmadedezigns. You can see more of the collection here.
These are a few of the pieces I’m loving for my spring fashion edit for 2019. Do you have any favourites? Let me know in the comments below.
