Places Crossed off My Wanderlust List

places crossed off my wanderlust list

Hello my travel giraffes can you believe it’s already the second week of 2018? Nope, I can’t believe it either! As time seems to be speeding by (except for January), I thought it would be great to take stock of the places crossed off my wanderlust list. I have shared a couple of these list with you (here and here) plus I have a few tucked away in my head but, I haven’t really shared the ones I have ticked off.

Places Crossed off My Wanderlust List

Going to Spain for the first time was awesome and what made even more special for me was that it was my first solo trip.

places crossed off my wanderlust list-Teleférico de Barcelona

Being able to explore some of the city on my own and celebrate my birthday was pretty cool! The highlights were taking the cable car ride and visiting La Sagrada Familia.

It’s definitely a city I would love to revisit and spend longer than a few days. Have you been to Barcelona before? Let me know.

This place has been on my wanderlust list for quite some time and in some ways, it will remain there for a bit. I did go to Bangkok which is the capital of Thailand.

places crossed off my wanderlust list- damnoen, bangkok

The city is vibrant, busy, dirty, smelly, intriguing and naturally has the BEST street food! For me when I pictured Thailand, it was always the beaches with white sand that came to mind. So it just means that I will need to revisit 🙂

I cannot tell you how much I love this place! Matter of fact I would return there in a heartbeat if someone were to buy me a plane ticket.

places crossed off my wanderlust list- Tegenungan

I love Bali! I love the natural beauty of the country, the friendliness of the people and the whole peaceful energy that flows. Should the opportunity arise, I would love to revisit and explore more of what there is to seen and experience. Not just what is seen on Instagram.

Another beautiful island…hmm there are a lot of islands on my list wonder why? 🙂

places crossed off my wanderlust list- Oia, Santorini

Anyways, Santorini was the moth and I the flame. The memories created on that island will forever stay with me. I couldn’t have asked for a better mini break in October.

The copious amounts of sunshine and views to rival other European places were a win, win for me. Yes, this is also another place I would revisit in a heartbeat!

I realise with the number of places on my wanderlust list, I haven’t really scratched the surface. Maybe 2018 will be the year I really make a dent! Don’t worry I will be sure to bring you along on whatever crazy ride I go on.

Have you ticked off anything on your wanderlust list yet? Let me know in the comments below.

As always, thank you for reading and remember to subscribe!

Until next time, be well!
