Favourite Face Masks

favourite face masks

Hello beautiful people! It has been awhile since I’ve done a skincare related post but, like I’ve mentioned here skincare takes time. With that in mind, I’m sharing with you my favourite face masks. Hopefully, it might help you choose a face mask if you’re struggling with which ones to use. I will also add a couple that I want to try.

Favourite Face Masks

Let me just say that my skin is combination with a bit of sensitivity which changes depending on the weather.

Clay Mask

Aztec Secret Indian Clay mask is what I use when I need to bring out the big guns. This comes in a massive tub, I purchase from Amazon and lasts for ages! I like that I can mix it with water, apple cider vinegar or even essential oils. It feels like my skin is being purged of all the impurities which can be pretty intense but, so good! Due to the intensity of this mask, I tend to use it on a monthly basis.

Soothing Mask

If you’ve seen my Instastories before you would know that I am a huge fan of French skincare. They seem to be able to merge the natural and science in a way that works well for my skin. I have some redness on my cheeks, that appears to be related to inflammation. So whilst I’m dealing with the core problems, I use a face mask from Avene on a weekly basis. The face mask is called, the Antirougeurs Calm Soothing Mask and it really is soothing. My cheeks are less inflamed and my skin feels incredibly smooth. Who doesn’t love smooth skin?

NIOD

I use a lot of serums and acids from The Ordinary but I’ve always wanted to try a couple of products from NIOD, which is part of the Deciem family. Enter Mastic Must which I can only describe as a herbally scientific concoction. It smells very earthy yet the consistency is very light and almost sticky like. The irony is, it isn’t sticky which is where the science bit comes into play. This mask I’ve had for a few weeks and only use once a week as per the instructions. It is great for minimising the appearance of pores because let’s face it, you won’t get rid of pores. The weird thing about this mask is that after washing it off, it’s suggested that you blast your face at a comfortable temperature with a hairdryer.

These are 3 of my favourite face masks at the moment because they are my go to’s, this isn’t to say that I don’t use other masks. As I mentioned before, there are a few masks I would like to try so thought I would share them with you.

Masks To Try

Midnight Radiance by Omorovicza is a gel mask that promises to reduce pigmentation and give you soft smooth skin. I love the look of this mask, however, it is on the pricey side coming in at £90 but Christmas is coming so let’s see if Santa is good to me :).

Alpha-H Liquid Gold Smoothing & Perfecting mask is another product on my skincare wish list. I have tried a sample of the Alpha-H Balancing & Pore Refining Mask which I really enjoyed but think the ingredients will be great for resurfacing skin.

Those are the masks I would love to try next. What masks are your favourite? Or, have you tried the ones on my wishlist? Let me know in the comments below.

As always thank you for reading and don’t forget I’m Bloglovin, Twitter and Instagram.

Until next time, be well!

x
