Denim and Red OOTD

So my fashion giraffes, it has been awhile since I did an OOTD. I was holding back due to not having someone to take my photos and a camera that frustrates me to no end when it’s on a timer. To be honest, I think these were just excuses I gave myself because I felt insecure about my appearance. I admit I fell into that comparison trap and to get myself out of it, I did an OOTD by myself in Salerno with the help of my phone. So without further ado, here’s my outfit post on pairing denim and red.

Denim and Red

I’ve always loved denim on denim but to pair it with red accessories takes it to a whole new level.

The denim jacket I purchased on Amazon, is slightly oversized, which is great for many pairings. I decided to wear a lighter colour denim for the bottom.

Let’s talk accessories. These are your classic red court shoes with a bit of edge to them. They have transparent inserts, which gives a nod to the ones from Gianvitto Rossi.

This small cross-body bag I picked up in the Zara sale, has been go to bag for travel. I used it in Barcelona and here in Italy. It’s spacious on the inside and the gold hardware gives it versatility. Here’s an alternative that you may like.

Although not red, this multi-coloured choker from Amrita Singh adds a bit of sass and class to a plain white t-shirt and jeans look. I love this choker and plan to wear this with many outfits. Don’t say you haven’t been warned 😉
