Day 4: Places Worth Visiting During Holidays

Places Worth Visiting During Holidays

Hello lovely and welcome to day 4 of my 12 days of Christmas series. Today’s blog post is to help you get out the house and do something fun. I’ve been perusing the tintyweb for fun things you can do, without or without your family. Therefore here are my five places worth visiting during holidays.

Places Worth Visiting During Holidays

Victoria & Albert Museum

The V&A are holding a special event until the 23rd December 2016, called Victoria & Albert Christmas Carol. The performance sees Queen Victoria speaking to her late husband as though he was in the room with her, transported to her favourite time of year. This free event will be performed through the British Galleries and feature singing, stories and dancing!

Kew Gardens

Unbeknownst to me, Kew Gardens have their own Christmas display and it’s epic! The trail is about a mile long and features a vintage carousel along with, light displays inspired by nature. It ends 2nd January 2017 and entrance fees are from £16 for adults.

Sleeping Beauty

It’s been a challenging year and sometimes all we can do is laugh at the hilarity of it all, this is where Sleeping Beauty can help. First off it’s not your typical dramatic story, nope this panto pokes fun at Brexit Britain. This sounds perfect for a family night out where you can pause, be in the moment and enjoy family time. The show runs until 8 Jan 2017 at the Hackney Empire.

Gin it Up!

If you fancy yourself a gin lover then East London Liquor Company’s gin masterclass mashup will be good for you! The boozy class gives you samples to take home along with 6 gin cocktails. The pop up ends on the 22 December and you can find more information about how to book here.

Cinderella

If you want to do something a bit more traditional then Chiswick House has a pop theatre and they’re playing Cinderella this season. Performances take place inside of a heated tent and run from the 16th to 31st December 2016.

That’s all I have for you today and let me know what you will doing for the season. It might inspire someone or me to try somewhere new!

As always thank you for reading and remember the competition ends tomorrow!

Until next time, be well

x
