My travel giraffes, I promised this post in my last newsletter that I would share places worth seeing in Dubai. I went there to celebrate my birthday and visit some new places. Hope you enjoy! 🙂
Places Worth Seeing in Dubai
Dubai Miracle Gardens
The gardens run from October to April each year. The other months are incredibly hot otherwise the flowers wilt in the heat. The garden is a large expanse of land that has been sectioned off into themes.
There’s a Disney section with all the key players like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck and the rest. Oh and of course there’s an Emirates plane. Entry is 50AED and you can purchase on the premises.
I would suggest that you either get there by 10am or after 4pm when the sun isn’t so high in the sky.
Desert Vibes
I was told that a visit to Dubai isn’t a real visit until you visit the desert. So, I did, and had a blast. I used Knight Tours who picked me up from where I was staying. I along with 5 other people drove to the desert, whilst it was raining into the sand dunes. It was a bit like a roller coaster and bumper ride combined.
After our sandy experience we visited some camels, had an amazing dinner and enjoyed a show.
Burj Khalifa
You can’t help but see the Burj Khalifa from a distance and it’s one of the places worth visiting in Dubai. Standing at over 830 metres it’s the tallest building in the world…for now.
I didn’t manage to go up the Burj on this trip because of the sandstorms. Yup, they’re real and can really mess with your view. You can book in your own currency via the Tiqets app and get a discount. If you do go, tag me in your Instagram pics (@majeangblogs).
Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall is definitely one of the places worth visiting in Dubai because it’s amazing! There’s so much to see and do in this place. For starters, there’s a massive aquarium inside the mall.
You can also step outside and take in the dancing fountains.
Apart from the copious amount of shops and food courts there’s also a waterfall inside that’s just beautiful.
Dubai is a beautiful place to visit. I would say go for no more than a week or, 3 days as part of a bigger trip. Are there other places worth visiting in Dubai? Let me know in the comments.
As always, thank you for reading and commenting. Until next time, be well!x
