Check me out! 3 outfit posts in a row! It isn’t exactly spring weather as yet but we can get prepared for it. Today’s styling Saturday post features this transitional dress from Mango via Asos. Read on for more details on this, must have versatile dress.
Must Have Versatile Dress
As mentioned I picked this up on Asos, insomnia shopping is awesome and evil at the same time š
Anyway, I was originally looking for a belt and the belt I wanted was styled with the dress, so I had to get it!
It’s essentially spring in a dress without the bugs š
The Details
This v-neck dress is a light flowy material with a slit to the front of the dress. The slit could be made longer by unbuttoning the little buttons or, if you’re going for a conservative look it can be buttoned all the way down. It nips you in at the waist which is very flattering.
The print is the ground-breaking floral kind š against an orange background.
Styling
I paired the dress with my trusty OTK grey boots because it’s much softer than black ones. To accessorise I added some red and gold accessories.
The bag I have featured before in another post, here and the belt is a new purchase. The black version was styled on the Asos website but a) I couldn’t get my size and b) red is a great way to add colour to outfits. The gold earrings remind me of the 80s and I love it!
Let’s face it, London is still pretty cold during Spring so I added this faux fur coat to keep the cold at bay.
When summer finally makes an appearance, I can restyle this dress with some gold flat sandals and a denim jacket. I could use rose gold accessories or black ones. For winter I could throw on a chunky knit over it and it could be a skirt.
Do you see why I think this is a must have versatile dress? It’s the perfect addition to your wardrobe.
What do you think? How would you style it? Tell me in the comments below.
As always, thank you for reading and remember to subscribe.
Until next time, be well!
