Hello beautiful people! How have you been? Apologies for the abscence but I was on jury service for 2 weeks. I am back with a skincare related post for you and sharing 3 effective spfs to try. I say effective, but the best spf is the one that you use. Summer is well and truly in swing and now more than ever do we need to use an spf. We also need to reapply especially when at the beach.
3 Effective Spfs to Try
Caudalie Very High Protection Spf 50+
This French brand does skincare really well. They even have a spa in France that I would love to visit one day. So it’s no surprise that their spf is amazing! I was sent this to test out and provide feedback on their website. It did not disappoint! For starters, it’s a lightweight fluid that blends effortlessly into the skin. There is no white caste which makes it brown and black skin friendly. There’s added skincare of vitamin E and polyphenols. If you didn’t know, polyphenols protects the skin from types of sun damage and help reverse the signs of aging; sun spots and wrinkles.
For me it wore really welll under foundation and didn’t cause any pilling. I found this to be really hydrating without clogging my pores. It comes in at £23 for 40ml which can be a little on the pricey side however, somethings are just worth it.
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun + Probiotics
A new product from Korean skincare brand Beauty of Joseon. For my sensitive skin babes, this is for you. Not only is it lightweight but it melts effortlessly into the skin which is a tick for brown and black skintones. No Casper on my watch! This spf protects your skin barrier with 30% rice extract and probiotics.
This chemical spf doesn’t cause pilling and helps to brighten your skin if that’s something you need. It comes in at £11.99 for 50ml on Stylvana. This is the website I purchase most of my Korean skincare products from. Delivery does take a minute.
Thank You Farmer Sun Project 50+
This spf is something you’ve heard me talk about before. It was one of my first forays into Korean skincare and I’ve been hooked ever since. Similar to the others, it is slightly thicker than the others but it doesn’t clog pores. It contains hyaluronic acid which gives your skin a natural plump dewy glow. Again it doesn’t pill on my skin and I’ve repurchased it a few times.
It’s a mineral physical sunscreen that restores and replenishes moisture in your skin. This is very useful during the winter months when you’re in and out of heating. You can purchase it at Cultbeauty for £20 for 50ml and it lasts quite some time.
These are the 3 effective spfs to try. Now I’d love to know what spfs you’re using for the summer? Do you change them around? Let me know in the comments below.
Thank you for reading and until next time, be well!x
