Hello my travel junkies how have you been this week? I’ve been thinking about solo travel a lot and how I get called ‘brave’ because I do it. More so, because I’m over 30. I think it has to do with the fact that travelling solo can be daunting. So in light of this here are 5 places that are easy to travel around solo.
5 Places that are easy to travel around solo
Nice
Found in the South of France, Nice is one of the easiest places to travel around by yourself. It has everything you could ever need or want. Good food, beaches, easy to move around, great opportunities and so much more!
Madrid
My very first trip for 2019 and I enjoyed my city break. You can read more here.
The metro is similar to that of London and New York so once you can navigate these cities, you’re good!
Barcelona
Next on my list of 5 places that are easy to travel around solo is Barcelona. I have fond memories of this Spanish city because it was the first place I travelled by myself.
There was so much to see, do and eat! Can you say paella?
Paris
This is a popular place and with good reason. There’s the Eiffel Tower, the river Seine and the Lourve.
It might not be the cleanest of cities but it has a certain charm that sucks you in. Plus, it’s a city that you can enjoy all on your own.
Lisbon
Last on my list of 5 places that are easy to travel around solo is Lisbon! Although, I didn’t do this trip on my own, I would return in a heart beat.
Apart from all the lovely things you can see and do in Lisbon, it is easy to navigate around this city and outside of it.
These places all have the same thing in common, easy to navigate on your own. Have you been to any of these places on your own? How was it? Let me know in the comments below.
As always, thank you for reading and commenting.
Until next time, be well! x
