Summer in the French Riviera Photo Diary

important things to remember when booking accommodation- St Jean Cap Ferrat, France

Hello, my travel giraffes how has your week been? If you follow me on Instagram, if not why not? You would have seen that I went to the French Riviera for a few days. I didn’t have anything planned which turned out to be a lovely surprise. Check out my summer in the French Riviera photo diary.

As I mentioned before, I didn’t have a plan for this trip and decided to ‘wing it’ just like most things in my life. I stayed in an Air B&B in Nice which is near Cannes and was able to easily move around which was a bonus! My first full day, I took the train to the coast and hopped on and off.

Eze-Su-Mer

One of the things I learned, is that anything ending with ‘Mer’ means beach. So when the train pulled into the station and you could smell the sea, I was expecting beautiful views and wasn’t disappointed.

Monaco and Monte Carlo

You see it in the movies or hear about the luxury that is Monaco and Monte Carlo. The hotels and shopping centre I went into was very opulent and I kept my hands to myself at all times! There were a lot of buildings and in a weird way I can see why people are charmed by it.

The port like most of the ports on the French Riviera, they’re filled with beautiful boats and yachts.

Menton

The final stop on my train tour was, Menton and it was such a charming place. Beautiful buildings and another beautiful beach.
