How To Maximise The Sunshine

how to maximise the sunshine.

So the sunshine is out in Londontown. Quick! Get outside and do something before it goes. I’m actually not kidding because if you’ve lived in the UK for a hot minute, you know it’s only a matter of time before the sun gets chased away. In light of this (;)) here are a few things you can do to maximise the sunshine.

How To Maximise The Sunshine

Go Outside

This is pretty obvious but people go outside. It may not be scroching for some of us but, it’s warm enough to go outside in less layers. Plus, if you’re one of the fortunate ones to have outside space, please, please utilise it. Oh and don’t forget your sunscreen.

Roof Top Dining

There are a number of restaurants and bars all across the capital where you can sit outside and soak up some rays. My favourite so far is The Boundary Rooftop based in Shoreditch. The views are simply breathtaking and isn’t your regular city skyline. You can check out their website to book. Another favourite of mine is Sushisamba, with the outward facing lift which isn’t for the faint hearted.

Lunch Breaks

Most offices in London are situated near some kind of open, green space. So to maximise your time in the sun, please go outside with your lunch and enjoy it. You and your office bestie take your sandwiches, wraps or whatever tickles your belly and soak up those rays.

Do it Yourself

My final tip in this list of things on how to maximise the sunshine works for those of your with access to a rooftop or balcony space. How about creating your own outdoor cinema? Hook your laptop up to a screen or if you’re fancy and have a projector your’re all set! Use your creativity by decorating the balcony with some fairy lights, cushions and mini lanterns. Just think outside of the box.

That’s it from me and I hope you found these suggestions how to maximise the sunshine useful. Let me know in the comments below if you’re going to do something out in the sun whilst we have it?

As always, thank you for reading and remember to subscribe.

Until next time, be well!
