Coping with Life’s Uncertainties

life's uncertainties

Unless you’ve been under a rock you would realise that there’s a lot of craziness happening all over the world. It feels sometimes like the world has gone mad! I know I sometimes feel like this and it can be a little bit overwhelming. So with that in mind, I thought I would share how I’m coping with life’s uncertainties.

Coping with Life’s Uncertainties

Recognition the Uncertainty

My first tip is to recognise that life is uncertain. Scary I know but, the reality is life has always been uncertain. It’s a harsh truth I realised and it burst my little bubble. However, once the dust cleared I realised there’s a level of freedom that comes with uncertainty.

Friendships

I’ve been incredibly fortunate with friendships. This is not to say that I haven’t had toxic friendships but I’ve been able to create a tribe of beautiful souls who are in for the long-haul. When you’re trying to cope with life’s uncertainties, you need to have people around you that won’t bring you down or add to your fears.

Find Your Bliss

As much as possible, find things in life that fill your heart with joy. Yes, life is uncertain but that doesn’t mean that you need to be miserable or unhappy. You will have unhappy moments and equally, you will have happy moments. Seek out the happy, the bliss, things that bring you complete joy.

Your Own Company

One of the things I’ve been able to do is, to enjoy my own company. The one person in this life that will always be with you, despite the uncertainties is, you. Get to know you and enjoy your own company. Figure out what you like and don’t like, so when it’s stormy on the outside you will be able to maintain that balance.

These are a few of my tips about coping with life’s uncertainties. There are others I could mention like faith but I’ll leave that for another time. I would love to hear how you cope with life’s uncertainties in the comments. Do you like these types of posts or do you find them too challenging? Let’s talk!
