My Top 3 Travel Websites

Hello travel bunnies and welcome to February! 2017 is certainly speeding and given the current world climate, I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I digress. Today’s post is all about my top 3 travel websites that help me plan weekend getaways or long hauls. These are the ones that help me find the best deals!

Top 3 Travel Websites

Booking.com

I have used this Booking.com for about 3 years, when I used to book flights and accommodation for a previous job. I found it easy to navigate and if you register, you get better deals.

One of the features I like about this travel website, is that it allows me to filter through the hundreds of properties available. So I can search for hotels only, within a certain budget and sort according to distance from the city centre.

SkyScanner

Everyone and their grandma knows about SkyScanner right? If you don’t then honey do get on it! They search hundreds of travel companies and airlines for the best price! You can also search for multicity flights, which can give you a clearer picture of when, where and how long you’ll be staying in one place.

Top 3 Travel websites- Antigua, Jolly harbour

They’re so good that when I was looking for my flights to Antigua, they came up cheaper than booking directly with Virgin Atlantic. And it was the same flight! I know it’s cray cray!

Trip Advisor

I can’t tell you how many times this website has helped me with hotel reviews, tickets for excursions and not known things to do in a city.

Top 3 Travel websites- Burano, Venice

It is so good that other websites have it integrated into theirs, so you get a truer picture of a place. This is all down to the fact that it runs on the opinions of people like you and I, who have been to or tried a venue, meal or company.

Essentially the more excellent/good reviews something gets on Trip Advisor, the better it is for you.

There are other websites that I peruse but these are my top 3 travel websites at the moment. The more I travel, the more I stumble across new apps or websites. If there’s something you think I should try let me know in the comments below and, because I’m nosy, I’d like to know where is your dream destination 🙂

After you’ve commented, don’t forget to subscribe.

Until next time, be well
