The Story

You see people everywhere rushing to work, to school and everywhere in between. There are smiles, sighs, frowns and groans. Everyone is rushing to get somewhere. What you don’t know or see is their story. Everyone has a story to tell.

You don’t know about the broken homes, the fight with the ex, the love making they had last night (or this morning). You see the pretty girl with the cute shoes running for the train but you don’t see the sadness in her eyes. You notice the guy with the green hair but you don’t recognise the deadness in his eyes is depression nor do you know the effort it took for him to get out of bed.

We all have a story to tell if you’re willing to listen without judgement. Some stories are funny; some are sad and some are so heart wrenching that it makes you wonder at the courage of the hero in the story.

So when you’re out and about in the world, take a moment and remember that we all have a story and doing the best we can.

Want to share your story? I’m listening….

Be well peeps
