Skincare on the Go

skincare on the go

Hello my lovelies how are you on this Tuesday? For my UK crew, how was your bank holiday weekend? I hope you enjoyed it to the fullest. Back to the topic at hand, today’s post is all about skincare on the go. We put a lot of emphasis on our facial skincare and sometimes forget about the rest of our body. I am fortunate enough to travel a little bit (here, here and here) so I’ve learned a few things about skincare along the way.

Skincare on the go

Bodycare

It doesn’t matter if your flight is 3 hours or 13! After you get off a flight you need to replenish the moisture you lost and I have found the perfect duo. I have always been a fan of shower oils and L’occitane does a great almond shower oil. You add water and it lathers up nicely. Combine it with their 15% shea butter lotion and soon your skin will be back to its natural glowy self, ready for your next adventure.

Shampoo and Conditioner

As someone with chemically treated hair, I only need to wash my hair once a week which is great! But when I’m travelling to somewhere sunny and will be taking a dip or 3 in the sea or pool obviously I’ll need to wash it after. There are a few travel sized shampoos and conditioners on the market but two that have stood out to me are from, L’Occitane and *AA Skincare.

This L’Occitane repairing shampoo and conditioner are part of their travel kit. They are the perfect size for travelling hand luggage only as they’re 75ml each. This duo is also great for those beach holidays because as much as we love sun and sea, they can wreak havoc on your hair.

skincare on the go- AA Skincare almond shampoo bar

The next shampoo that is especially great for skincare on the go is a shampoo bar. This one was kindly gifted to me by AA Skincare who are focused on crafting quality natural products. This almond shampoo bar is great if you have too many liquids already and can’t fit another one. Or, if you’re on the hunt for a natural shampoo to use whilst travelling. I thought the almond bar would be great after long-haul flights and you want to replenish lost moisture.

If you’re off on a holiday soon check out AA Skincare for their other shampoo bars and skincare products. Or if you’re reading this at the airport, a) have a great time and b) check out the L’occitane area for the travel-sized pouch in duty-free!

That’s all for this skincare on the go post. Do you have any holy grail products that you can’t travel without? Let me know in the comments below.

Thank you for reading, commenting and following.

Until next time, be well!

x
