La Sagrada Familia by Gaudi, Barcelona photodiary

Hello beauties! How have you been? As you can tell from the title, today’s post is my Barcelona photodiary. I decided to share a few photos of the few days I spent in Barcelona with you. It was a special trip because it was my very first solo trip and it was my birthday! I hope you enjoy!

Day 1

I stayed near the busy stretch that’s known as Las Ramblas, however, on my first full day I decided to visit La Sagrada Familia.

I was completely impressed with Gaudi’s creation, which is still ongoing many years later! My photos didn’t do it justice.

Day 2

For my actual birthday, I wanted to do something a little different. Just didn’t know what but somehow ended up on one of the 2 cable cars in Barcelona. The views were simply stunning and it was the perfect birthday treat!

I’ve ridden a cable car before and although it can be a little unnerving, I find the ride invigorating and the views! I can’t get enough of the views of the city.

Day 3

My flight wasn’t until the afternoon so I took the opportunity to explore my area. Las Ramblas is busy and always bustling with people. Along the stretch, there are bars and restaurants along with, flower stalls! There’s also a food market with everything Spanish you can think of!

The market was both a feast for my eyes and belly! Everything was so bright and colourful that my senses were firing away!

I had a wonderful 3 days in Barcelona and I would love to visit again to experience what I missed out on. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Barcelona photodiary. I’d love to know if you’ve ticked off anything off your wanderlust list? I know I did :).

Don’t forget to subscribe if you aren’t already.

Until next time, be well!
