The Bootea experience

Happy Monday peeps! How was your weekend?

I decided to embark on a teatox at the beginning of the month because I had heard soooo much about it. Plus, I was having that post Christmas sluggish bloaty type feeling. Luckily, Holland and Barratt was having a sale (yaay for me) and I was able to get it for 25% off, because this stuff ain’t exactly cheap!

When you open the box you find two resealable bags; 1 for the morning and 1 for the nighttime cleanse. The nighttime tea is to be taken every other night before bed and the longer you leave it to brew the more potent it is. I found this out on their website which was really helpful along with the information in the box.

Now let me say that I’m not much of a tea drinker but I found the taste to be pleasant and grew to like the morning tea, as it became part of my daily ritual. The night tea took a bit of getting used too because to me it tasted a bit more herbal.

After the first couple of days I felt less bloated and a little bit more engerised. The cleansing bit of the detox was barely noticeable to me at times but I did feel better internally. As for the weight loss aspect of the teatox; I didn’t take it for this so I can’t really comment. However, I did notice my tummy looking a bit flatter although that can be attributed to being less bloated.

All in all, I would do this teatox again and if you’re interested have a look into it on their website. But by all means please check with your doctor and do your own research into what will work for you. Health after all is not a one size fits all thing.

Hope that was helpful and please let me know in the comments, if you’ve tried any of the teatoxes and what your experiences were like.

Until next time have a good one peeps!
